Ingredients:
“Dry”:
– 500 g flour
– 1 tsp salt
– 1½ tsp baking powder
– 125 g butter
“Wet”:
– 3½ dl milk
– 1½ tbsp sugar
“Filling”:
– 100 g dark chocolate
– Orange extract (Optional)
How to:
Turn oven on 200 degrees celcius. Mix flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl. Knead the butter into the flour mixture. When it looks like crumbs, it means you’re done kneading for now. Then knead in the rest of the ingredients for a minute or 2 – they only need to be mixed together, so don’t knead it for too long. Roll out the dough so it ends up being around 5 cm in diameter, and then chop it up until there’s about 16 scones. Bake for about 15 minutes (depends on oven though). And you’re done! Enjoy!
Jeg har gernet ville bage scones i et stykke tid efterhånden, fordi jeg simpelthen elsker scones og så har jeg jo aldrig prøvet at bage dem før.
