Growing up

19/06/2010 by Jeanette Jewel 3 Comments

Okay, so Shiny wrote this thing about kids acting like adults, on twitter, and actually I had thoughts about this topic long ago – and well, I thought that I wanted to do a simple blog about what I think.

So, basically, I know lots of 12-15 year old kids, drinking their brains out, partying almost every day, fucking here and there and kissing with everybody they see – being proud of it. Young girls walking around showing almost all their flesh, trying to make guys see them. Kids trying to act like they were adults, basically – and I just never understood it, really. When I look at myself now, I would’ve LOVED to go back and be a kid again.. What’s the rush with growing up so fast, kids? I seriously don’t get it. No, it isn’t cool to act like that at your age, it just isn’t..

When I was at that age, I was one of the more mature girls, hanging out with girls being mostly around 2-3 years older than me, but it wasn’t like I really wanted to get older, acting like I was so much older, like teens do now a days..

Anyway, what’s your opinions on this topic?

PS. No offence!

Dreaming

13/03/2010 by Jeanette Jewel 6 Comments

Dreaming while you’re sleeping is something everybody does – and it always happens. Even if you don’t remember your dreams. If you don’t, it just means you actually finished your dream. When you remember the dream, it means you woke up in the middle of it.

Tonight I had a dream, and I kind of wanted to tell about it, so here were go:
I dreamt that Mia Malene and Canni had won a M&G in Moscow at Tokio Hotels hotel, and I had to go with them there, just to stay outside and wait for them to come out again, but when I went there a lady actually went “Come on in, girls” and I started to go “Wait, I didn’t win a..” and the lady said “Come on in anyway!”
I was taken to a room, I remember it being very white, and I think I stood there with Mia Malene. I had no clue where the other girls had gone, but I remember Bill coming from the door, wearing that blue shirt, hat, all the accesories, every single detail, I remember (as in the pic with the “dreaming” sign). He didn’t even greet Mia Malene, he went straight to me to give me a hug. I just went “Hi, wie geht’s?” to him and he laughed a little before saying “Geht gut” and then he said “I’m here to show you into the other room where all the others are, so come on”.. He then tok us to the room, and I remember taking off my jacket, scarf, etc. I put them on a chair, and just some minutes later we were taken to an airport to fly somewere. I was seated next to Bill, and talked to him all the way to the place we had to go. When we arrived, it was some kind of competition between all the girls in the whole wide world who had ever won a M&G with them. We had to compete about living with the boys for one day.. and then I asked Bill, “Are we going back to Moscow so I can get my jacket and stuff?” and then I woke up.

Weird dream, huh? The most realistic dream I had was back in 2008 after I knew Bill was going through surgery. I’ll tell about that dream another day.

Have you ever had any really weird dreams? Or any realistic ones? You’re welcome to tell me about them in the comments, and I might make an entry with the ones I think are funny, cool, etc. 😀

to be polite

30/11/2009 by Jeanette Jewel No Comments

I was just chatting with this girl, and well – she kept telling me to get the fuck off and !!!!!!!! at me, and SRJGDFGKJDNG at me, and I was like; “Well, maybe if you asked me in a polite way, I would.” And then she turned all “OMG GTFO OR I’LL DELETE YOUR NUMBER AND I’LL NEVER WANT TO TALK TO YOU AGAIN BLABLABLA!”
– My point with this post is; is it really too much to ask, for somebody to be just a little polite?
This world amazes me in a bad way, unfortunately. If people could just be a little more polite, well, maybe they would do more for you, and like you better, if you were just being polite and sweet.

Elephants mean a lot to the thai people - They used them for centuries as working animals; In war, as a local taxi and even for tourists to ride on or for shows..
In 2016 I experienced this first hand when I paid to watch elephants in a show. Elephants that were chained up when they didn’t perform. I’ve felt bad about it ever since.
This time we visited an Elephant sanctuary - A place where the elephants have been saved from the tourism and working industry. The mahouts live in the jungle with them and even consider them their pets! 🐘
Yes, they do still get a lot of tourists visiting them - but they get fed lots of bananas, get mud baths and washed in the river and just generally seem very happy! Best part? No chains! The mahouts only train them by using sounds (seeing as elephants don’t have a great sight).
I really recommend visiting this place! 🥹

Heldigvis er her stadig dejlig lunt - på trods af regn og skyer 😌 Vi krydser fingre for blå himmel og solskin når vi skal på ture i næste uge 🙈🤞🏻

First two days in Krabi are almost over - It’s the end of the monsoon season here, so we still haven’t experienced a clear blue sky 🌥️ However, it is still nice and hot, even when it rains 😌
Crossing our fingers for sun and blue skies when we go on some trips next week! 🙈🤞🏻
