Not too long now until Mia Malene and I are going to London. I can’t believe time passed already! Feels like it was just yesterday we booked the trip. Wow!

Anyway, I went to the train station today to buy traintickets to Kastrup Airport and back home again next week, and I went to the bank to get some pounds, since the Danish kroner can’t really be used in the UK. Tomorrow will be lots of packing and cleaning, and Friday I will be leaving. Can’t wait to see London, and also meet Amiee again. Yay!

On day 6, we had to leave Rome, unfortunately. We got up, had breakfast and packed all our stuff, and at 10 we left Rome in a bus to go to Fiumicino Airport, where we had to fly from at 13:30. It took about half an hour in bus from Rome to the airport, and we checked in, had some lunch at McDonalds and then we had to fly.. This plane was a lot better than the plane we were in to Rome! It had screens and it was so much bigger too.

When we arrived in Kastrup Airport it was quite sad.. We’d left Rome where it was sunny and at least 12 degrees c, and when we arrived in Copenhagen, it was about 1 degree c and cloudy.. That was pretty damn depressing! We had an hour until we had to take the train from landing, so I bought some chicken/bacon salad and a Cooler from 7/11 and wow! Never have salad tasted so good! I hadn’t had salad for a week, so you don’t know how much I enjoyed it!

After about an hour in the airport, it was on the 6 hour train home.. Bye bye, Rome. I miss you already!

On day 5 in Rome, we got up and went to see San Clemente church in Rome.. It only took us a few hours, and after that we were free to do whatever we wanted until 19 in the evening, so I went to the Trevi Fountain (Picture 1) with some of the girls. I really wanted to get there while it was still light outside, and when we were there, we got gelato for the last time (Picture 2). When we finished at the Trevi Fountain (which is probably my favorite place so far, in Rome), we went to Via del Corso to do some shopping, which was actually quite cosy!

In the evening, we met up with the entire class and the teachers and went to have dinner.. On a very crappy restaurant just across our hotel, which I wouldn’t recommend to anybody. We waited two hours for our food, and some of it had hairs in it, and wasn’t even cooked enough.. Really bad! Not bueno at all!
