Family day

13/06/2010 by Jeanette Jewel 1 Comment

Yesterday I spent an entire day with my dad’s part of the family. We have this thing we do each year in June, where we go see stuff around the country and yesterday we went to Hanstholm to go see the bunkers from World War II. I saw them before, like 5 years ago with school mates. What a shame that it was such a bad weather yesterday. I was freezing, I spent my day outside from almost 8-20:30. Anyway, here’s just a picture of me and the view over the ocean. It was soooo windy, and just a few minutes after this picture was taken, it started POURING down with water!

Kittens

09/06/2010 by Jeanette Jewel No Comments

Yaaaay! I don’t know if I ever told you guys, but our oldest sacred birman cat, Yessie, was pregnant, and today she gave birth to 3 healthy sacred birman kittens. I filmed a bit from when she was cleaning them up, when they were almost newly born, but I can’t put it on the laptop just now. I will take pictures later on and put them in here to show you all. This is the first time we ever had kittens! I’m so excited!

Well, something I’m not really excited about is that I’m going to the dentist tomorrow at 10:15.. I hate the dentist, especially when it’s something serious you have to get done with you teeth. It scares me.

The past couple of days have really just been boring. I have to fix all my exam stuff, but I need my mom to buy me something before I can start doing it. She’ll go to the city to buy it for me tomorrow and then I have tomorrow to start fixing it all. Phew. First exam is at June 15th 8:10 and then I have ’till June 16th where I have to presentate my work in front of teachers. It’s social study exam. My math oral exam is on June 22nd.

Anyway, will leave you with this for today. Boring long post without any pictures, yay!

Skive Festival, here I come!

05/06/2010 by Jeanette Jewel 1 Comment

I wasn’t sure if I was going or not, today. Last time I went to the festival was on Wednesday when I watched Green Day, and well – at first I didn’t really feel like it today, even though it’s the last day, but then my stepsis wrote to me and I’m going with her. I’m really looking forward to spend some time with her again. When we were kids we used to go to the festival together and have fun, even though we were only around 12, maybe. Looking forward to going with her again, even though I might get myself into the pain from the toe! When I woke up this morning, my foot was BLUE and PURPLE. I got pretty scared!

Anyway, I will try to get some pictures and videos from the festival (even though it will be bad quality phone pictures and videos), so you can all see how it went. See you guys later!

The magic of waiting

26/05/2010 by Jeanette Jewel 9 Comments

Okay, so right now I’m waiting all alone in school for my mom to come pick me up, and well, this is what happens when I’m bored and am just.. waiting.. (Guh, photoshop messed with me when I tried to put the pictures together. Bad bad photoshop!)

I now have to pack down my laptop and go pick up my make-up at dads. I forgot it there. Typical me!

OH yeah, btw, hopefully I’m modelling for a friend on Saturday and Cecilie will come visit me on Friday and we’ll have a sleep-over. Also, hopefully I’m going to the hairdresser this week too.. If I can find the time, of course.

Well, see you guys later :)!

Elephants mean a lot to the thai people - They used them for centuries as working animals; In war, as a local taxi and even for tourists to ride on or for shows..
In 2016 I experienced this first hand when I paid to watch elephants in a show. Elephants that were chained up when they didn’t perform. I’ve felt bad about it ever since.
This time we visited an Elephant sanctuary - A place where the elephants have been saved from the tourism and working industry. The mahouts live in the jungle with them and even consider them their pets! 🐘
Yes, they do still get a lot of tourists visiting them - but they get fed lots of bananas, get mud baths and washed in the river and just generally seem very happy! Best part? No chains! The mahouts only train them by using sounds (seeing as elephants don’t have a great sight).
I really recommend visiting this place! 🥹

Heldigvis er her stadig dejlig lunt - på trods af regn og skyer 😌 Vi krydser fingre for blå himmel og solskin når vi skal på ture i næste uge 🙈🤞🏻

First two days in Krabi are almost over - It’s the end of the monsoon season here, so we still haven’t experienced a clear blue sky 🌥️ However, it is still nice and hot, even when it rains 😌
Crossing our fingers for sun and blue skies when we go on some trips next week! 🙈🤞🏻
