Not so long ago I made an entry about some cookies I’d baked, and I baked another batch of them today + I translated the recipe from Danish to English for you all, so you can bake them yourself! I absolutely love these cookies. Nom Nom! They need to be tasted! Here’s the recipe:
Chocolate Chip Cookies (25)
225 g soft butter
150 g sugar
160 g dark brown sugar
2 eggs
½ teaspoon salt
1½ teaspoon vanilla essence
315 g flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
200 g dark chocolate
Start out by mixing butter and the two kinds of sugar. After that, you mix the eggs in it, one at a time and then you put in the vanilla essence. Mix all of the dry ingredients in another bowl. When that’s done, mix the dry mixture into the wet mixture, and after that is done you put in the chocolate. Put them on a baking plate, as done on the picture below.
Bake them in 12-14 minutes at 190 degrees. When just taken out of the oven, remember to let them cool off for a few minutes.
Apparently cupcakes is starting to be quite a trend at the bakeries in Denmark too, and when I went shopping in Dagli’ Brugsen in my city they had these banana & raspberry cupcakes. Each cost 10DKK. I only tasted the banana one, and man, it was really really good! It had chocolate pieces inside of it, and it tasted so much like banana. Yummy! I think they can be bought in Kvickly too. That’s at least what I’ve heard!
