Today – actually, right at this very minute – 3 years ago, I was in Grugahalle in Essen, and my first Tokio Hotel concert ever was about to start. I can’t believe that it has actually been 3 years since! I remember it like it was yesterday. I remember sleeping under a bridge in the cold, the very long queue and us being up front, the soundcheck as we were standing right next to the walls and hearing them play 1000 Meere for the first time – that song will always remind me of Essen, always. I remember Bill turning up right in front of me on the stage, I remember Bill presentating the band with the names “Thomas, Wolfgang Hagen & BILL!” and Bills cute smile and the little melody Tom played on the guitar. I remember Bill getting a glowstick caught in his hair, and his face was just way too precious for words as he took it out of it, I remember Bill kicking and pushing Tom gently, I remember Linda turning around and saying “Ich bin nicht ich, now!” and how much I was crying. I remember all the little amazing details.

It was definitely worth all those days, waiting in the queue, freezing. This concert was really damn special, especially since it was my first, and it was the last one on their Zimmer 483 tour. Really emotional concert. <3 Thank you to all of you who were there with me, to experience the first time I ever saw Tokio Hotel in real life! You know who you are <3
