Yet another post from American Museum of Natural History in New York – this time about their gem and mineral collection, which is absolutely beautiful. I am deeply fascinated in how nature can creative “stones” like these. I could go around and look at these for hours – Actually, I think we did go around and look at them for a PRETTY long time. Look at those pastel colored stones above, on the 2nd picture. GORGEOUS. And also, how about that 388-carat stone at the bottom picture? There were lots of these to look at. Couldn’t keep my eyes off of them in there. Great collection, most definitely worth a visit!
Endnu et post fra American Museum of Natural History i New York – Denne gang er det om deres “gem and mineral collection”, som er virkelig fantastisk smuk. Jeg er fuldstændig fascineret over hvordan vores natur kan skabe “sten” som disse. Jeg kunne gå rundt og kigge på denne samling i timer – Faktisk, så tror jeg at vi tog os RIMELIG god tid til at kigge på dem. Se bare de pastelfarvede sten ovenover, på billede 2. SMUKKE. Og også, hvad med den 388-karats sten på det sidste billede? Der var rigtig mange af dem at kigge på! Jeg kunne slet ikke få mine øjne fra dem derinde. Fantastisk samling – Helt sikkert værd et besøg!
