Concerts + liveshows

04/11/2010 by Jeanette Jewel No Comments

Today – actually, right at this very minute – 3 years ago, I was in Grugahalle in Essen, and my first Tokio Hotel concert ever was about to start. I can’t believe that it has actually been 3 years since! I remember it like it was yesterday. I remember sleeping under a bridge in the cold, the very long queue and us being up front, the soundcheck as we were standing right next to the walls and hearing them play 1000 Meere for the first time – that song will always remind me of Essen, always. I remember Bill turning up right in front of me on the stage, I remember Bill presentating the band with the names “Thomas, Wolfgang Hagen & BILL!” and Bills cute smile and the little melody Tom played on the guitar. I remember Bill getting a glowstick caught in his hair, and his face was just way too precious for words as he took it out of it, I remember Bill kicking and pushing Tom gently, I remember Linda turning around and saying “Ich bin nicht ich, now!” and how much I was crying. I remember all the little amazing details.

It was definitely worth all those days, waiting in the queue, freezing. This concert was really damn special, especially since it was my first, and it was the last one on their Zimmer 483 tour. Really emotional concert. <3 Thank you to all of you who were there with me, to experience the first time I ever saw Tokio Hotel in real life! You know who you are <3

Todays nails; Eyeko – Indigo Polish

by Jeanette Jewel No Comments

Thought I wanted to show you the last one of the Eyeko polishes I bought. This one is called “Indigo Polish”, and I loooove the colour of it! It’s so pretty! It’s like a mixture of blue, purple and blue glitter. So cute! One thing I’m kind of disappointed about though, is how long time the polishes from Eyeko are lasting. Last week, I tried the Vampira Polish, and only the next day after I’d put it on, ALSO as I’d been using top coat, it started coming off. Anyway, the colours are definitely cute – and hey, it was very cheap anyway. For more information about where to buy Eyeko, go HERE.

Otherwise, I’m glad to hear people are having fun with the “make your own sentence” I made! Keep commenting your funny sentences!

Make your own sentence

03/11/2010 by Jeanette Jewel 15 Comments
You probably all know this game, where you have to find your birth month, date and the colour of your shirt and put it together as a sentence – and today I felt like making my own of these, and I thought it would be fun to post it in here.

So please, post your sentences in the comment section!
I would love to see all the funny sentences coming out of this! 😉

I’m a free bitch

I loved these movies at the Gaga concert, between each “set” of it and in the beginning of the concert. So inspiring and daring. That woman is not just making music and being a fashion icon, she’s making art.

What are your thoughts about this?

Elephants mean a lot to the thai people - They used them for centuries as working animals; In war, as a local taxi and even for tourists to ride on or for shows..
In 2016 I experienced this first hand when I paid to watch elephants in a show. Elephants that were chained up when they didn’t perform. I’ve felt bad about it ever since.
This time we visited an Elephant sanctuary - A place where the elephants have been saved from the tourism and working industry. The mahouts live in the jungle with them and even consider them their pets! 🐘
Yes, they do still get a lot of tourists visiting them - but they get fed lots of bananas, get mud baths and washed in the river and just generally seem very happy! Best part? No chains! The mahouts only train them by using sounds (seeing as elephants don’t have a great sight).
I really recommend visiting this place! 🥹

Heldigvis er her stadig dejlig lunt - på trods af regn og skyer 😌 Vi krydser fingre for blå himmel og solskin når vi skal på ture i næste uge 🙈🤞🏻

First two days in Krabi are almost over - It’s the end of the monsoon season here, so we still haven’t experienced a clear blue sky 🌥️ However, it is still nice and hot, even when it rains 😌
Crossing our fingers for sun and blue skies when we go on some trips next week! 🙈🤞🏻
