As said before, I had a lot of great girls visiting me yesterday, and when only we were 5 in the evening (since 4 of them had to sleep over), the girls talked about making a photoshoot – and well, we did! This is a little behind the scenes photo, taken by Mia Malene.
Rainbow cake with chocolate frosting on top! Mum and I baked it yesterday for my classmates, so they could have it today in school, and it tasted so yummy + The purple, red and green colors in it are just amazing. I remember when I was a little kid, mum always made this cake (in green only) for my littlebrothers birthday parties and made it into football/soccer field!
My classmates loved the cake, and they were pretty fascinated by the colors in it, so it was positive feedback I got for it! Yay!
Today started out with me and a friend of mine having to drive on the highway for the first time ever. We went at 8, and she started to drive to Aalborg and then we switched in Aalborg, and driving on the highway is actually quite amazing! So weird to drive 130 km/h and then have to switch 80 km/h suddenly. You get the feeling of driving so slooow!
Besides driving today, I went to school, and when I came home I showered, then mum came home and we baked for my classmates! I won’t let you see the cake until tomorrow, since I don’t want to ruin the surprise for my classmates. Also, I baked more oreo cupcakes today, for Saturday when my girls will be visiting for my 18th Cupcake Birthday Tea Party. It’s going to be nice!
Oh my God, have I waited long for spring to come to Denmark! I was getting sick of the dark, the snow, the cold, and now Spring is finally here! The sun is out, and the weather is warmer.. They even said in the TV that the weather would be 20 degrees c here tomorrow (As I also told you the other day). How amazing is that? Spring has always been my favorite season of the year, when everything turns colored after a sad and long winter.
Today I went outside to enjoy a Sun Lolly in my garden, wearing my lovely pink leopard sunglasses (which matches the cover of my iPhone, haha!) and it was so nice! Been wanting to do that for so long! Thank you, Spring!
